Opening Ceremony

 

The World Junior A Hockey Championship is coming to Camrose from November 2 to November 9, 2008 at the sparkling new Edgeworth Centre in Camrose.

Opening Ceremonies will be held November 1, 2008 and feature the first concert in the new Edgeworth Centre, featuring Canada's own Tom Cochrane!

Internationally known for such major hits as "Life is a Highway" and "Big League", Cochrane recently released his new album "No Stranger", his first new studio material in eight years. Tom's mix of passionate
anthems and intimate ballads make him the perfect choice as the artist chosen to perform the first concert in the new Edgeworth Centre. Cochrane's commitment to humanitarian work through World Vision, and World Society for the Protection of Animals, and the Parkinson Society, is legendary. "It's all about people having a decent life, freedom of speech and tolerance," Cochrane says.
