Its rich hockey history has allowed Camrose to foster one of Canada's most competitive Junior A hockey franchises over the past decade, the Alberta Junior Hockey League’s Camrose Kodiaks.

The Edgeworth Centre, finished in time for the start of the 2007 / 08 AJHL hockey season, will serve as the home for the 2008 World Junior A Challenge. The beautiful new facility in Camrose, Alberta will host the 6 team international hockey tournament in November. The facility boasts an NHL sized ice surface with a seating capacity of over 2,500.

It is the home arena for the Junior A Camrose Kodiaks of the AJHL, and the Men’s Collegiate Augustana Vikings of the ACAC. In addition to this it also contains a new 300 seat arena, to accommodate various community hockey programming. The facility has a unifying lobby area to connect the main arena, the user arena, the existing Max MacLean arena, the curling club, and the aquatic centre.
